Hyde Park deserves leadership that prioritizes accountability, f iscal responsibility, and clear communication. • Andre J. Clark, Town Supervisor

I have lived in the Hamlet of Staatsburg for the past three decades. As a resident, I have had the good fortune to be able to enjoy the peace and beauty of this historic town on the banks of the Mighty Hudson River. At this stage of my professional career, I am committed to working to ensure that my Home Town is the best that it could be administratively, and in keeping with the technological and social developments of the day. My professional experience, training and credentials enables me to effectively lead the implementation of initiatives necessary to achieve these goals. Re-elect Cindy!

2025 Candidates - Dutchess County

  • Brendan Lawler, County Legislator, District 4

As a public school teacher, union member, and father, I understand the challenges our families face every day. As your County Legislator, I’ve fought to expand mental health services and public safety, maintain staffing at our national parks, while supporting more youth activities and Dutchess Community College.

I’m running for re-election to continue fighting for smarter use of your tax dollars, safer communities, and more economic opportunities for Hyde Park and Poughkeepsie.

  • Trish Prunty, County Legislator, District 7

Please support me as I work to refocus the county on the real needs of our community - quality of life initiatives and affordability. I feel a call to action as values that we hold dear are under attack. We need to elect more women and change the narrative in Dutchess County."

  • Kara Gerry, County Court Judge

I have spent the past 18 years in public service, because this is the community where I grew up and where I am raising my own family. I am deeply committed to the people of Dutchess County: making sure that justice is served fairly and that people are held accountable for their criminal activity; protecting the community from dangerous individuals in ensuring that those who need treatment and help are afforded that opportunity; and meting out appropriate sanctions and punishment for those convicted of crimes. As the only candidate with experience and perspective that comes from being both a prosecutor and a defense attorney, I am uniquely qualified to hold the position.

  • Dan Aymar-Blair, County Comptroller

As your new Comptroller, I’m working hard to protect our tax dollars and hold government accountable. Costs are out of control and I’m focused on fighting waste and overspending in Dutchess County.

Good government begins with accountability, integrity, and fiscal responsibility. I was elected because people in Dutchess are sick of reckless government spending and inefficiency, and I’m working everyday to improve our county government and push it to deliver more.
